Robert Abbott
Robert Abbott is a comedian and actor based in Denver, Colorado. He began studying improvisational theater in 2011 at Bovine Metropolis Theater, completing the curriculum in 2012. Robert has since continued his education through Chaos Bloom Theater and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, where he studied acting.
Robert began performing stand up comedy in 2014. He was a finalist in the ComedyWorks New Faces competition in 2014. That same year, he formed a sketch comedy group called The Agency, with fellow stand up and improv comedians Matt Wayman, Corey Rhoads, and Walter Booth.
The Agency hosted stand up, improv, and sketch comedy shows at Crossroads Theater, Lost Highway Brewing Company, and Rise Comedy. The group also hosted stand up open mics at Crimson & Gold and Denver Ted's Cheesesteaks in Denver. The Agency collaborated with Shinesty (Boulder, CO) filming various sketch videos and commercials, including a short for Shinesty's MTV series "Shinesty" in 2017. The group disbanded in 2018.
Currently, Robert is an owner, teacher, and performer at Chaos Bloom Theater. He is a member of The Chaos Bloom Players and is represented by Big Fish Talent (Denver, CO).
