We ask that you have previous training if you’d like to register for levels 2 and above. Registration is open to everyone for any level so don’t worry if you haven’t studied with us before. You must be at least 18 years old to take our classes. Any refund requests must be made 7 days before the start of the class.
Improv, Sketch, Clowning, Standup Classes
In 6 weeks you'll learn the fundamentals of long form improv scene work. Yes And, Ensemble improv work, Playfulness, Who, what, where, when, & why. Pattern building and intro to a long form comedy show piece with a team of people. It's a also a nice way to learn how to communicate better with people and build good simple people skills.

Salon Desciption:
Robert Abbott is a comedian, actor, and co-owner of Chaos Bloom Theater. He began improvising and performing comedy in 2011 and has appeared as a principal actor in commercials for companies including Crocs, United Airlines, and Ocean Spray. In 2024, Robert debuted his hour-long solo character show, Friends With Fermata. His favorite thing about comedy is creating and performing characters.
In this salon, Robert will teach the basics of how he creates characters for sketch, improv, and social media. Students will learn how to create fun and authentic characters. Additionally, we will focus on creating and performing solo character sketches, teaching students techniques for developing repeatable characters for both stage and social media.
